Alanté Health is seeking a dedicated Director of Patient Coordination responsible for overseeing and optimizing the patient intake and patient scheduling process to ensure seamless and high-quality patient experience. This key leadership role will support efficient clinical flow and resolve day-to-day patient coordination challenges, particularly those impacting Nurse Practitioner (NP) schedules.

Responsibilities

  • This is a working leadership role, requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on support.
  • The Director is expected to step in as needed to maintain continuity of care and operational excellence.
  • Lead and improve the patient intake process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a positive patient experience.
  • Supervise staff to include performance management, training, recruiting, and counseling.
  • Develop and implement workflows, policies, procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure consistent clinical support standards and adherence to protocols.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to align workflows with provider needs.
  • May be required to prepare medical charts and transpose medication information from a state-wide medical exchange.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational issues impacting NP workflows.
  • Coordinate and manage NP schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage and flow.
  • Must have proficient computer skills to input data and access electronic records, as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree healthcare administration, business, or related field, preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, patient coordination, or clinic management.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience, preferably overseeing intake, scheduling, or clinical support staff.
  • Strong understanding of outpatient clinic workflows and patient flow management.
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and scheduling systems
  • Medical Assistant (MA) license or certification required.

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
