We’re currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team and help create a nurturing environment for our residents living with memory loss. 

 

In this vital role as a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling care staff members. The Staffing Coordinator coordinates, monitors, and update services provided as directed. The SCC is responsible for ensuring the community is staffed and functioning to company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with nursing care staff and plan the shifts’ services.
  • Interpret policies and procedures to personnel, patients, visitors, and government agencies as required.
  • Constant and regular updates to the Care and Med Tech staffing schedule as changes occur.
  • Daily care staff oversight and/or direction to staff in assigned sections.
  • Provide recommendations and participates in the hiring of staff in accordance to the new hire company guidelines.
  • Responsible for assuring care staff/Med Techs are properly trained and have completed the required documentation (performance competencies, training, required testing, orientation).
  • Onboarding of all staff.
  • Coordinate and track staff members training in accordance with company policy and state requirements.
  • Prepare daily labor report.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for staffing.
  • Cover caregiving and med tech shifts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certified.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Caregiver, or Medical Technician certification/licsensure.
  • One (1) year of experience providing direct care to residents and/or patients.
  • One (1) year experience in a long-term facility preferred.
