Alanté Health is seeking a dedicated Director of Finance who will lead the financial operations of the practice, ensuring compliance, productivity, and fiscal health. This highly visible and hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in physician group billing and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize billing operations across CCM, AWVs, RPM, and wellness services.
  • Monitor payer reimbursement and denials, ensuring compliance with CMS and payer requirements.
  • Work closely with billing teams to enhance claim throughput and reduce accounts receivable (A/R) aging.
  • Lead PGP-specific accounting functions including general ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage annual budgeting process and variance analysis in alignment with operational goals.
  • Forecast revenue and cost trends to support strategic planning.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare billing regulations, HIPAA, and CMS standards.
  • Maintain internal controls and audit readiness for financial and billing operations. 
  • Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs and productivity metrics.
  • Analyze cost drivers, payer performance, and service line profitability.
  • Serve as financial liaison, providing regular financial updates and strategic recommendations. 
  • Lead and develop finance team staff while maintaining a hands-on role in daily operations.
  • Own solo projects requiring initiative, cross-functional collaboration, and timely execution 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance roles within a physician group practice (PGP).
  • Deep knowledge of billing codes and workflows related to CCM, AWV, RPM, and wellness services.
  • Strong working knowledge of key financial strategies of ACOs, Medicare Advantage plans and other alternative payment models.
  • Expertise in PGP-specific accounting, A/R management, and budgeting.

Pay Range

USD $145,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
