The Guest Service Director primary role is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our facility’s Guest Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the guest are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the guest service programs of the facility.
• Develop, administer, and coordinate department policies and procedures.
• Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the identification of medically related social and emotional needs of the guest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an approved school of Social Work preferred, OR a minimum of three (3) years experience with either: admissions in a Skilled Nursing Facility, or hospital discharge, or case management required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with either: admissions in a Skilled Nursing Property, or hospital discharge, or case management, or hospitality required.
