The Director of Rehab is responsible for day-to-day management of the activities of the Therapy Department to assure proper utilization of available resources and continuous quality improvement. The Director oversees the development of the Therapy Department, the coordination of therapy services and the integration with other departments.

Responsibilities

· Directs Therapy associates through effective leadership and management of customer service, quality guest care, marketing of Home Health services and responsible fiscal management.

· Coordinates operation strategies and activities to ensure the provision of outstanding quality guest care and services while adhering to regulatory and company guidelines and requirements ensuring efficiency and economy.

· Mentors, guides and supervises staff providing clinical guidance and assistance to team relating to documentation, quota, performance, communication, staff morale, and professional development, as well as recruitment, hiring, and promotion of associates to support expansion efforts.

· Assesses market conditions, business volume/mix, competition and operational costs/requirements. Utilizes current knowledge of services and strategies to market the company and grow the business.

Qualifications

Education:

· Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience with pertinent continuing education.

· Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech

Language Pathology from an accredited program.

 

Licensure and/or Certifications:

· Current state licensure.

· Valid driver's license with maintenance of safe driving record and an automobile that is insured in

accordance with state requirements.

 

Experience:

· Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience as a practicing Therapist required.

· Related management/supervisory experience required.
